How to submit a site to Directories?

Site Title: Be realistic when creating the title for your site. Look at the existing titles and you can get an idea if there is any leniency here. If there’s going to be any chance of getting some keywords included in your listing’s title, they will have to be found on your web site in the title, and never to excess.

Geographic Location: This is an important one that is easily overlooked as its an optional field. If you have a physical location it is in your best interest to fill out this field. Go the the Regional section of the directory, located the topical category under your city, metropolitan area and county. List these under the geographic location. There is a good chance to get 3 additional listings under these regional subcategories if you take the time to include them during your submission.

Description: As it reads – max 150 characters. Write a description that actually describes your site and would be of interest to a real person.  This is not anchor text! You don’t need a bunch of hype or keywords here. You are writing a description for humans, not search engine spiders.
